Check out all of the San Antonio parks we’ve visited this year as part of our #SA2020Resolutions.

 

For #15 of our #SA2020Resolutions quest to visit 20 parks this year, my kids and I visited Maverick Park, a three-acre stretch on the corner of Broadway and Jones. People gathered in Maverick Park on that late Sunday in September to play in the streets, AKA attend Síclovía, the city’s biannual party which closes several miles of Broadway to car traffic.

Bikers, walkers, dog lovers, and people of all ages who love to get outdoors and move flock to Síclovía twice a year, taking advantage of miles of safe passage for exercise and fun and the opportunity to meet up with friends and neighbors.
