Say Hello to Our Newest Nonprofit Partners!

In 2020 especially, nonprofit organizations across San Antonio and Bexar County have stepped up in big ways to meet changing community need. As the organization that drives progress toward San Antonio’s Community Vision, we are so proud to support 158 area nonprofits through capacity building, collaboration, data sharing, and storytelling. Get to know the newest SA2020 Nonprofit Partners below.

Endeavors

Endeavors was founded in San Antonio in 1969 by churches to help meet the needs of people who are homeless. Today, Endeavors’ work falls under three pillars of service: Community and Family Services, Veterans Support and Wellness, and Emergency Services. Within these pillars, various programs support mental health, veteran employment and housing, homelessness prevention, employment for people with disabilities, child welfare, and disaster recovery. Endeavors supports victims of Presidentially Declared disasters across Texas, North Carolina, Florida, and Puerto Rico. Endeavors is a We Hire Vets and Leading Disability Employer.

Chronic Pain Resource Center of South Texas

Founded in 2017, the Chronic Pain Resource Center of South Texas (CPRCST) provides support for people and families living with chronic pain. CPRCST recognizes that people who have chronic pain need support beyond the traditional medical model. Through education, outreach, and support, CPRCST empowers people to increasingly manage their own health care. The Resource Center offers free support groups and low-cost counseling services to individuals, teens, and parents who live with chronic pain. The Resource Center also provides free access to relevant pain education through its speaker series.

Opera San Antonio

OPERA San Antonio provides access to the performing arts and arts education for all San Antonians. OSA presents world-class opera productions in collaboration with the San Antonio Symphony at the Tobin Center. They also provide educational programs for children in partnership with the San Antonio Public Library. OSA has established a digital presence with live interviews, live broadcasts, and online masterclasses. Recently, OPERA San Antonio worked with other Texas companies to create the Texas Opera Alliance, a partnership designed to advance and protect the future of opera across the state.
