Rights
As a resident of San Antonio, I have the right to:
- Be valued and respected as an individual. I have the right to be treated with dignity and respect, regardless of my culture, race, ethnicity, gender, age, religion, ability, sexual orientation, or citizenship status.
- An accessible and accountable city government. I have the right to a say in decisions made by city government. I have the right to information provided by city government that is easy to interpret and understand. I have the right to a simple way to report concerns to city government. I have the right to a speedy response when I contact city government. I have the right to understand how the city collects and spends my money.
- A city that is committed to improving its resources for community members. I have the right to live in a city that is focused on responsible growth and development that benefits all members of the community fairly
