Audree Hernandez is the Director, Strategy and Organizational Development for The Consulting Engineers Group-NM where she develops, oversees, and implements programs and projects that support the Company’s vision, short-term initiatives and long-term objectives. She previously served as the Senior Director of Programs for the national non-profit, College Advising Corps (CAC), where she directed CAC’s in-school model and national partnerships while managing a team of Regional Directors and supporting the Texas CAC programs at Texas A&M University, Texas Christian University, Trinity University, and UT Austin.
A long-time San Antonio resident and avid reader, Audree will always be passionate about providing college access opportunities to first-generation, low-income, and underrepresented students. As a non-traditional college graduate, she dedicated more than 13 years to college access programs and served as Project Director with the Trinity University College Advising Corps, where she launched its program and managed sixteen advisers serving in San Antonio area high schools; Assistant Director/Counselor for Trinity University’s Upward Bound program where she provided direct advising to high school students to support their preparation for and transition to college; and Assistant Director for Trinity University’s McNair Scholars Program where she helped launch the program that prepares undergraduate students for graduate studies. Audree holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication and a master’s degree in Adult & Higher Education from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
