May 2013 Index Crime Rates
The Index Crime Rates for cities across the country are published annually in the FBI Uniform Crime Report. San Antonio saw a significant decrease in our Index Crime Rate from 2010 to 2011 and was ranked by CQ Press as the 10th safest big city in America (population of 500,000 or more).
